The causes of female infertility are very diverse, although we must establish clear differences between primary infertility (when not previously had children) and secondary (when you have had at least one child).
For pregnancy to occur, several things must happen:
It should develop an egg in one of the ovaries of women.
The ovary to release an egg each month (ovulation). The egg must then be picked up by one of the fallopian tubes.
A man's sperm must travel through the uterus to the fallopian tubes to join the egg and fertilize it.
The fertilized egg must travel through the fallopian tubes and adhering (implanted) to the lining of the uterus.
Causes of female infertility
Between 75 and 85% of cases of female infertility is due to anovulation - that is, the ovum is not expelled Ovary -, theendometriosis - condition in which uterine tissue outside the uterus, in the ovaries, fallopian tubes, intestines, bladder and even periotoneo - and finally, the factor peritoneal tube - when the fallopian tubes, which carry sperm to the egg, have an injury, blocking or adherence.
